CLEARANCE

Obtaining clearances and permissions is essential in order to use specific materials conveying the essence of your project. Necessary permissions depend on the final distribution and the scope.
Determining what legally can and cannot be used in your project. Production lawyers will have the final say.
Clearing images directly with photographers and cinematographers.
Assisting in negotiation strategy with third party rights holders.
Discerning people, artwork and commercial brands appearing in the image that also have rights.
Working with unions: ACTRA, UDA, SAG, and other guilds representing featured talent.

Clearance Service Fees are calculated by the nature of the project, required clearances, the requested grant of rights, schedule and budget. Fees are structured by a flat fee per clearance, per project, or daily/ hourly rates.
Footage may contain music needing clearing. Music Clearances may need to be addressed by another specialist.
