Maxine is an Archival Producer, Visual Researcher and Consultant based in Pictou County, Nova Scotia.

As an astute tracker she uses her keen research and observational skills to determine the best images, archives and options for film and media projects.

Maxine’s services vary across all phases of project development; digitizing archives, project management, creating workflow, sourcing media, correspondance, clearances, licensing and consulting services.

Her passion for cinematic theory and history are supported by a Master of Arts degree in Film Studies with the University of Kent in Paris, France and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film Studies from Concordia University in Montréal, Quebec. In addition, Maxine is a certified Montessori Educator with over five years of experience teaching at international Montessori Schools and an Outdoor Forest School using the Montessori pedagogy.

Her motivations are inspired by a desire to facilitate awareness. Guiding others toward discovering useful information, sharing with purpose and compassion, as well as learning through storytelling.

Maxine balances her time working on film and multimedia projects with gardening, farming and exploring her own personal artistic pursuits in music, painting and craft.

At the intersection of where her experience with teaching in alternative education meets art history and film, awaits opportunity for collaboration. With projects that emerge from a cooperative dynamic of creative expression through multifaceted mediums. Inspired by real stories and interesting people, spoken through the language of cinema. Encouraging thought-provoking ideas and innovative development in the universal community of the arts.
